Rental Policies

These Rental Policies explain how rentals work at TIMSAUTORENTAL and what you can expect when you book a vehicle with us.

1. Booking & Vehicle Allocation

  • All rentals are subject to vehicle availability at the time of confirmation.
  • We may provide a similar or upgraded vehicle category if your selected vehicle is unavailable.
  • Booking details (dates, times, locations) will be shown in your confirmation email.

2. Rental Period

  • The rental period begins at the confirmed pickup time and ends at the confirmed return time.
  • Extensions are subject to availability and must be approved in advance.
  • Late returns may incur additional charges based on our current daily or hourly rates.

3. Vehicle Condition & Inspection

  • Each vehicle is inspected and documented before handover.
  • You are encouraged to review the vehicle condition and report any visible damage before departure.
  • New damage identified at return may be chargeable according to our damage and insurance policies.

4. Mileage Policy

Mileage limits (if applicable) will be specified at the time of booking.

  • Some rentals may include unlimited mileage; others may have a daily or total limit.
  • Excess mileage is charged at the rate shown in your booking or rental agreement.

5. Fuel Policy

  • The applicable fuel policy (e.g., full-to-full or same-to-same) will be clearly shown at booking or pickup.
  • Failure to follow the fuel policy may result in refueling charges and a service fee.

6. Use of Vehicle

Vehicles must be used responsibly and in compliance with traffic laws.

  • No off-road driving or use on roads not suitable for the vehicle.
  • No racing, drifting, or participation in motorsport activities.
  • No use for illegal activity or transporting prohibited goods.
  • Only authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.

7. Accidents, Damage & Breakdowns

  • In case of an accident, contact TIMSAUTORENTAL and local authorities (if required) immediately.
  • Do not admit liability or arrange repairs without our approval, except in emergencies.
  • Details about roadside assistance (if included) will be provided at pickup.

8. Fines, Tolls & Violations

  • You are responsible for any parking tickets, traffic fines, tolls, or penalties incurred during your rental.
  • Administrative fees may be charged for processing fines received after the rental period.

9. Cleanliness & Smoking

  • Vehicles should be returned in a reasonably clean condition.
  • Evidence of smoking in the vehicle may result in a cleaning fee.
  • Excessive dirt, stains, or odors may incur additional detailing charges.

10. Accessories & Extras

  • Extras such as child seats, GPS, or additional accessories may be available at extra cost.
  • You are responsible for proper use and care of any rented extras.
